A life-long personal philosophy and guiding principal conceptualized by musician, philanthropist, and creative visionary, El Maestro Bobby Ramirez that is the Founding Principal at Jazzonian:

"Part of our mission is to inspire, empower, and give love to 1,000,000 kids and families per year, said Bobby Ramirez, Founder and President of Jazzonian.

Dear Friend:

Jazz is a window to the human experience that enables each person to achieve his/her full potential as part of this wonderful American artform; set the bar high; make a conscience choose to become exceptional at whatever each individual decides to do in life.

In that spirit, Jazz has the potential to inspire family values, creativity, perseverance, positive self-esteem, freedom of expression, leadership, and community service.

This Principal, "It starts with people, and ends with people", that is part of my everyday life was inspired by the timeless passage from the Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

Every person is unique with distinctive talents. There are no two people in the world that are equal. Therefor, every person is capable of reaching his/her full potential. You can choose to be exceptional; or you can choose to be mediocre. It starts with people, and ends with people. You.

In that regard, Jazz is life, Jazz is liberty, Jazz is a pursuit of happiness realized by every musician that has practiced this unique American artform since the beginning of its founding.

Before they mastered this wonderful artform, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gilespie, Stan Getz, many others, where "people." And after they became notable for their exceptional achievements, they are still "people." The difference is that each of these individuals made a personal leadership decision to become exceptional on their instrument.

There is much we can learn from Jazz about the human experience. I think that if we can learn to listen to one another, and treat each individual with respect as "people", not judge "people" by the color of their skin or where they come from, the World will be a better place.

I hope that my philosophy, "It starts with people, and ends with people", will inspire you. If so, pass it on to your friends and family, especially young people. And the World will be a better place.
